Galeotti,Jim.jpg (126502 bytes)James Galeotti has an AA and BA in business administration, Masters in Court Administration, and a Juris Doctor in law and has practiced these professions for many years, until recently. Also a skilled computer professional, Jim designs web pages for graduates of the Comprehensive classes.  He is the reason the business side of the faux painting and trompe l’oeil classes are so thorough. Jim specializes in teaching how to Venetian plaster, accepting commissions and teaching. Also, he is trained and accomplished in faux finishing and trompe l'oeil and has over 12 years experience with these art forms.  His work can be seen throughout businesses and private residences in California and Nevada, Mississippi, Louisiana, and Missouri. He brings with him an energy and enthusiasm that inspires the energies of his students and helps them focus toward their financial and artistic goals.

Sherree Andersen adds a youthful punch to the staff of Faux Painting School.  Sherree has been teaching art for 6 years and has apprenticed at Faux Painting School for over 16 years.  Her natural artistic abilities are enhanced by her decorative art training and experience teaching faux finishing classes and how to Venetian plaster classes.  Her work can be seen in residences and commercial establishments throughout California and Nevada.

Sherree started faux finishing when she was in High School because her mother, who is and has been a master faux and decorative painter for many years, insisted that she help.  She tells us, "In the beginning,  I hated it, but now that I have matured, I am grateful to her because she helped me find a career that I love and consider one of my blessings.  My mother and I worked on many jobs together including hotels, restaurants, and private homes.  I consider my practical experience a tremendous help to me as I continue my education in art."
Education:  Graduate, Faux Painting School; Hancock College; Santa Rosa College; University of Oregon.
