Private Instruction Available
Do you want to learn how to faux finish, or
how to Venetian
plaster, but you do not have a week to devote to a class? Are you a person who
learns better in a one on one atmosphere? Then the private lessons offered at
Faux Painting School may be your answer.
Private lessons mean individual attention and working at your
own speed instead of the speed of the whole class. Often this means you will
finish faster and comprehend more of the material with the individual attention.
The student can choose the samples and techniques they desire to learn or the
techniques they believe will be popular in their community.
The student can schedule private sessions at their own
convenience and can work the hours they choose. Even weekends are an option. The
cost is only $50 per hour. There is a minimum of 4 consecutive hours. Venetian
plaster or any faux finishing technique that requires drying between layers, may require two
half days.
When the artist selects the techniques they wish to learn
from pictures on our web site, they can call Susan with their choices.
She can then give them an approximate time needed to learn and complete those
finishes. If you are unsure of what will sell in your area, she can advise you
using her 28 years experience working in many different communities with
different fashions trends.
Paulette from Texas was able to fly in
to our faux finishing school for two days. She
finished 13 sample boards for her portfolio, including Venetian plaster boards.
Paulette has returned three times each time staying for two days of private
faux finishing classes. Paulette is known throughout Dallas and Austin for her Venetian
plaster work.
At the end of the two days, she bought the Business Course on CD and has since
studied it, asked questions, and got her business moving very quickly. Today she
has two people working for her full time.
What are some other advantages of taking private lessons? You will cut your time
away from home in half. It will cost you less for lodging and food. You get to
pick the techniques that you want instead of a set curriculum.
